On 29 April in Antarctica, an annular solar eclipse will occur. You'd have to be standing with the penguins to actually see the glorious Ring of Fire, but folks in Australia (AQ!) will see a partial solar eclipse. The rest of us can watch live coverage online at Slooh on Monday night-Tuesday morning http://events.slooh.com/ It will be beautiful!

My location reached 26.7 C (80 F) late this afternoon. Phew! Also, I saw a really big hawk after I finished mowing, but it wasn't R.T.-- perhaps his mate.
