Almost a routine day yesterday, except none of us saw a fish delivery (did EJ catch her own when she had a long break early in the morning?) and EJ had to repel an intruder who had been singing and dancing for her - was it BlueXD, we wondered?
Tonight EJ sits peacefully on her 3 eggs - she just had a 2-minute stretch-and-flap but the stills are mostly very blurred, sadly.
I have personally asked her not to lay another egg, but her response was non-committal.
IMAGICAT
My usual view of LG i.e. buffering :-( so I'm not posting much. Not too many frosted feathers this morning

Morning Everyone
Lets hope Odin has already delivered a fish for EJ this morning. Looks like he is still incubating, so EJ getting a decent break.
EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
EJ still enjoying hr "me time" I imagine but Odin looks content enough
Patily - From your captures of Odin sitting @ 6.15 am EJ is certainly getting some time to herself, wish we knew if he had brought a fish in for her.
@ 07.55 EJ flew in and change over, Odin flew off rather quickly so not sure if he was chasing or not!
Good morning all and thanks for all pics and comments. Scylla I do like the black and white captures, very atmospheric and the 3 eggs show up so well. I too hope that it will remain at 3 eggs.
Good morning, all. EJ is looking especially beautiful today:
I'm certain she must have had sufficient fish to eat in the last day or so - we'd be seeing a much less contented looking EJ if she hadn't been fed. I'm afraid poor Maya at Rutland is demonstrating what happens when an incubating female goes hungry.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
