After a routine, if wet, day on the nest, EJ is quiet and comfortable on her one egg. Just a chance of Egg #2 today.
IMAGICAT
I can't say I do. I just think they are all magnificent.
Birdies LG DU update.
They certainly are all magnificent......but you do get used to the character traits of individual birds.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
She's back again and she seems to want her egg back:
What are they gazing at?
Odin shows no sign of moving.
Huh! I thought I'd go thru the morining's recordings while waiting for the DU to load (which can be such a frustrating experience to watch live ;-) ) ... so I took all my snaps and here I am and it's all been done already!
Super photos, thank you all. All that remains is for the exact daycam time, which I'm not sure why we bother with but it's a tradition. I suppose it shows the curve of the season.
DAYCAM 0548hr
Taken in passing.
Good morning Scylla.
They're still as they were - every so often EJ bends down to gently nibble at Odin's feathers! Awww.
He has finally moved off the egg and off he flies. EJ settles down again:
Good morning everyone. Is it really Monday already??
Thank you everyone for some lovely photos of the lovely couple.
SCYLLA, I like to know the time of the daycam, so I can complain about it being still 'so dark' down here (North Yorkshire!) :-p

EJ peacefully incubating
Odin's arrived for his turn again, and is moving clumps around. Maybe he's hoping for the Egg #2!
