Welcome to another day in the 2014 season. EJ's currently standing near the edge of the nest, and now she's giving her egg a turn.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
I'm away to roost. See you later everyone, and happy watching.
Thanks for the captures Heron and starting the thread.
EJ was sitting incubating at 05.50 am, looking around, Odin arrived, stood on his barricade of sticks and peered into the camera, then he mated with EJ, she flew off and he is now rearranging the sticks before settling down on his and EJ's egg!

Morning all. Thanks Heron for starting us off and Mary for early morning captures.
Morning, all. EJ is back:
She sits for a moment and then Odin gets up:
He flies off but she takes a while to settle:
Something is clearly bothering her as she has flown off:
Odin arrives:
He settles on the egg as we briefly see EJ swoop past (though I don't think I captured that):
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
She is back:
Can I have my egg back, dear?
Odin doesn't move and she has flown again:
Good morning and thank you all above ^^^ :-)
IMAGICAT
Odin gets bored and looks for his mate:
He does a bit of nestorising:
EJ returns and finds Odin conveniently off the egg:
Odin flies off and EJ settles down:
Intruder! EJ mantling and alarm calling. Odin looking calmly up
Could it be BlueXD, checking up on his old fling?!

Might be you know who Chocoholix! :-)
My thought exactly, Mary! Given he was in Fife on 11th, I'm betting he's back now, and Green J was a wee bit behind him, so all the more reason to go a-wandering!
