I am sure all of us are indebted to Scylla for her tireless monitoring and recording. With assistance from NASA and work by a certain 'crafty' person we have managed to obtain a glimpse of her hitherto secret set up.
Birdies LG DU update.
This 'Thread' needs a bump :-D
Absolutely 'BRILLIANT'.and I suspect nothing has changed.
Scylla seems to be just as ardent, clever, and on top of things as ever. :)

The only person who sometimes doubts that is our Scylla!. LOL.
What a moving tribute to the work Scylla puts in and to all those others that post vids etc. Brilliant

As we start to think about 'our' ospreys dusting down their feathers, catching a few more fish and preparing to leave their winter quarters, I really must 'bump' this thread in readiness! Do start from page 1.
It is nearly four years since it was so well received, with thanks to Mike and 'friend' (we know who you are!!).
I hope Mission Control is feeling much better now, and is ready to take on the burdensome job which we all so VERY MUCH love and appreciate!

Funny you should say that, I'm sat here wishing the recovery process would speed up! Thank you so much for your kind words :-* and for everyone else's historical ones ;)

I wasn't "around" when this thread originated in 2014, however based on the short time that I have been, I would concur with all the admiration that is due to Scylla. Ian
Sheila, Well said! Scylla is a gem and that seems to be generally agreed!
Scylla, Yep, you are a gem and we are all indebted to you for your hard work. I hope you are taking your vitamins, drinking enough liquids and getting enough sleep (despite currently busy following untold Owls, Eagles, etc.!) and I hope you are better and are hale and hearty very soon. After all, you need to be fit, well in advance of the onset of the UK Osprey Season which begins in only a couple of months!
Kind regards, Ann
Only 72 days to EJ! I might have mentioned before that I have a lot of faith in that bird.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Yup I think you have Clare! And that 72 days will pass in a flash!
Hope you are getting better now Scylla, lots of TLC! better get all that equiptment ready and in good working order ready for the countdown! Where would we all be without you and how much would we know!
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
