Thought it sensible to create a new thread where we can keep each other abreast of which Ospreys have returned to the Public sites. Please don't post any information on non protected locations
32/05 has now returned to Rutland as well as 03/97
Just in.....5N(04) back at RW!!!!!
Confirmation from Lake District Osprey Project that they did have an osprey arrive at Bassenthwaite yesterday - this may be their nesting female as she is unringed.

I notice their blog writer adopts a very poetic style - no mentions of cake here! The home page of their site - which seems to tie together elements from the BBC site, Flickr and Facebook in a rather confusing way which I haven't totally figured out yet..........

Thanks SueC. I also find their site very confusing with links here, there and everywhere.
Morning Sue & Alan. Last year I followed the Bassenthwaite nest on Flickr:

I found this to be a great site which they promised to update daily (including photos) and were true to their word. I loved the fact that, during quiet periods on the nest, they would blog about all sorts of things. I notice this year that they are including clips from the live video as well. I only have this site and the live video feed bookmarked as otherwise it gets rather confusing.
Has the Bassenthwaite osprey been identified? Is it NoRing?

Both ospreys on the nest at Glaslyn:

5R back at RW!!
Oh fantastic. They really are coming back quick.
Dyfi twitter feed confirmed that no birds have returned yet. Looks as if Rutland did mix up the two Welsh sites
