Thought it sensible to create a new thread where we can keep each other abreast of which Ospreys have returned to the Public sites. Please don't post any information on non protected locations
32/05 has now returned to Rutland as well as 03/97

According to the RW twitter thread they have had a message from the Dyfi osprey project saying that both their ospreys have returned. That would be great news for the Welsh osprey population to have another breeding pair.

Nothing on the Dyfi twitter feed or the website. I wonder if Rutland have got the two Welsh sites mixed up?
Bird on the nest at LOTL at the moment, enjoying an evening meal.

Hi Vespa. I did wonder whether that might be the case. Strange that there has been no other news of this pair returning. Surely the RW guys know the difference between Glaslyn and Dyfi?
Nothing on the Dyfi facebook page either. Marge has been eating a large fish on LOTL nest for some time now.
Amid all the excitement here, there appears to be an osprey on the nest at Bassenthwaite - can't see any announcement on their various sites though.
Update from RW. No new arrivals as yet but some great photos of 03(97) nest building and trying to place a recalcitrant stick.

Oh Sue - just splendid ! Thanks so much for the pic of an Osprey at the Bassenthwaite nest (hope I've spelled it correctly).
Any chance of a link to the live video?
Cirrus This page has the still pics - that's where I got the image, but can't find any archived ones with the osprey in! There's also a link to live video but that isn't working.
