Thought it sensible to create a new thread where we can keep each other abreast of which Ospreys have returned to the Public sites. Please don't post any information on non protected locations
32/05 has now returned to Rutland as well as 03/97
Thanks SueC and Alan,.As the nest's situation is so different from LG and LoL people who have not been people may be interested to see it. It's a great view if you can manage the hill and get a fine day. I hope to go at once or twice more before they go.
SueC's points are just what the staff member I was talking to said, ie better for the publicity, but there is opinion high in the management ( I don't know any details) that is more for the traditional 'they are wild birds' and don't have names. The tracking is a new thing for them though. I hope it goes well.
More details and a picture of the brood of 4 that was ringed by Grampian ringers:

Thanks Alan and those 4 look incredibly healthy so food must have been plentiful.

Latest nesting calendar. 20 out of the 32 chicks have now been confirmed as fledged:
Thanks for nesting calendar update Alan. How wonderful to think 32 more ospreys in the world but of course that is now and we all know what a high mortality rate there is.
Just heard that all 4 fledged at the Milford Connecticut nest.
"All four fledged no one has been able to date each fledge All four between 7/14 and 7/17 "
