The weather in Scotland is definitely not flying weather today you can only see a few feet n front.  Centre would be concerned lady wouldn't be back if this was the position next weekend so plenty time

Just been checking out another site and someone there has written that the latest Lady has returned was 30th April in 1998 - my nerves won't hold out that long.

Thank you for your report Lmac, but sorry it was not good weather for you or the birds. You are quite right Lady would certainly prefer to arrive in better weather. That said there is a recent sighting at Stirling (posted by Alan Petrie) and that is the direction I would expect her to come from.

Disappointed today but here in Ireland weather was murky with little visibility so if like that in Scotland hoping she is safe somewhere waiting to get a clear run.  

Thank you Lmac, the weather wasn't great yesterday either and the flat top tree is so far away. I watched the weekly forecast on countryfile and it looks as though warm southerly winds are coming up from the sahara this week so should be a help to the old girl getting up to perthshire ! Regardless of which birds are there we really want to see a breeding pair on the loch, hopefully in the established nest and not the bunch of sticks next door. I know which I would choose if I was a discerning lady osprey ;-) Great to see that Odin has arrived at Loch Garten too.

I think if Lady comes back for sure they will use the original nest, however if a newfem then I do wonder Rockchick which nest will be used.  I think there are still a lot of Ospreys in transit and todays weather would stop a lot of them flying.  Hopefully tomorrow will bring some action to Lowes in a positive way, which as you say and as I said at the centre is chicks at LOTLs.

Thanks for all the updates, pics etc.  Many thanks to Lmac for an ospreytastic report and pics from LotL.  Shame about the weather. All quiet at LotL just now, well quietish considering the gulls sound quite cheerful ;)
