Here is the thread you have been waiting on. The book opens now and will close at midnight on Thursday 20/Friday 21 March 2014
Predictions should be in three parts
1. The day and date of her arrival on the Loch Garten nest.
2. The time of day
3. Will EJ be carrying a fish?
So let the guessing begin.
One guess per forum member. Best of luck everyone.
Previous return dates for EJ are to be found here

First up today is Bente W
They really need to move the camera - this is the current picture:
It's lovely, but........it doesn't feature a nest!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Thanks, Tiger--maybe I was remembering the deadline for another nest--LOL!
Clare, I agree and hope they move the camera soon, but the Squirrel is rather cute!
Kind regards, Ann
LG will be moving the cam some time today on to the nest I have just spoken on the phone to them.

Delighted to hear that!
scylla said:CC, please have a look at the new Carnyx cam, are you able to screen capture it without interruption?
YES! I got it - it took a while. I open it in a standalone player - Quicktime - using http://wms.carnyxlive.co.uk/abernethyIt looks good. I see a squirrel. See ya later - gotta go to work.

They must be moving the camera now, as I can hear voices but picture still shows the feeder, which desperately needs refilling.
Thanks Limpy for the info.
My prediction: 28th March anytime but if I have to predict a time then about 17.00 maybe with a fish or not. There you have it. Hopefully the cam will be operating very soon from the nest.

Camera still showing feeder and as you say, Brenda, needs filling badly, virtually empty.
1 EJ will return on Tuesday 25th March
2 She will make her presence known to webcam viewers at 3.25
3 She will have eaten her fish before arriving, and will immediately start moving twigs and branches.
