I thought it might be helpful to start a new thread specifically for Glaslyn. It appears from the Facebook link that great progress is being made in preparing things for the forthcoming season and hopefully the site will be a success again.

I see they have listed the details of the cameras. Three HD units one of which can be used to pick out the birds when perching nearby.
I wonder if the ospreys will sense something strange when they return to their newly refurbished home. Their arrival will be interesting.
I am sure they will settle in as Blue XD and Green J did when their nest was refurbished.
More news as to the intentions for the season at Glaslyn.

Many thanks Mike for starting this new thread. I think that under the new set-up and leadership, and with all the wonderful volunteers they have, this nest will prove to be as successful to watch as is Dyfi. And we all know how brilliant that was last year. So I for one wish them all the very best for their venture.
