Blue BF  has been at Hannington reservoir, Essex since  11 May. 

Now Blue BF fledged from Wigtown in 2010.

Tiger, I think it is Hanningfield, not Hannington Reservoir.  Great news that at least one Osprey has been there for 4 days now (thanks, Alan, for the reports).  I heard they have a platform for Ospreys, but so far it has not had a resident pair.  I hope David knows about this forum and posts a photo for us, too, once he has one.  Some of us are not (yet!) on Facebook.

There is a good photo of this bird on Facebook, and it looks more like Blue 8F not Blue BF. If so, then it is a 2012 chick and offspring of 5R from Manton Bay

I think Limpy is going to try to get to Hanningfield to see if he can spot it.

It was not  BF it turns out to be 8F a two year old chick from Rutland. Lots of drama with that family in 2012.
