Thanks Alan - going to go that way home.  Lurgangreen is just a slight bit more north of  Seabank heading towards Dundalk bay.       Fingers crossed - my dream to see one here.       Weather was atrocious yesterday.

I think the Louth one has moved on Alan.   I looked on MOnday evening in the three places it had been sighted and nothing but then the tide was out.   My husband went looking yesterday when the tide was in and spoke to a birdwatcher who had seen it on Monday heading south towards Annagassan again.   I wonder if it was the same bird sighted coming in over Anglesey - just a short hop from Annagassan and the times could be about right.   I recall in April 2013 one being sighted along Seabank going north - possibly the same bird?

I wonder if this is the same osprey that has been spotted at this time of the year for the last couple of years at the Quoile Quays outside Downpatrick as it moved North.

Maddening Val when they have been so close and to miss them.    When I was in Annagassan last week I said to my husband how great it would be to see an osprey fishing along where we were and then I missed one.   Infuriating!
