Osprey sightings 2014

Alan: Re the mystery osprey, it could not have been Morven....Roy has seen her last night at her nest...she has shed her transmitter.

Osprey seen at Weirwood reservoir in Sussex yesterday, as reported on the SOS site.

Could it be that the favourable winds from the south are resulting in Ospreys flying longer distances & not having to use the same number of stop overs where they are more easily spotted?

Alan: I have been in contact with Emma at SWT/LotL about the mystery tagged unidentified osprey sighted 26th March. She has replied to say that they were aware of this sighting and are also excited as we are about who it could be. The more experts we have on this case the better, don't you think!
