Birdies LG DU update.
I tuned in at 8.39 to find no one on eggs. Maya returned at 8.46.

Yes he had fishing tackle or something and the centre gave EJ Tesco fish. The worry here is that I think two Rutland ospreys and disappeared/died in the area in dodgy circumstances - cant remember the details but I am sure it is probably somewhere on Chloe and Tigers site.
Thanks Lmac, I did hear about the Rutland Ospreys, that's what concerns me now. I will check out Chloe and Tigers site.
Tina I found thishttp://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leicestershire-13526489
It appears in 2011 this was the third osprey to disappear from Rutland mysteriously
It was 3 June 2009
and Can't Take Much more of this
Tiger Signature
That was 8(97) who went missing. 8 (97) is one of the birds on my Famous Osprey Page
Interestingly 8 (97) fathered two chicks that came back viz 11 (10) and 12 (10) bettered known as Glesni.
pitch black at the nest but you can make out the white on Maya's head and neck still sitting - lets see what good news tomorrow brings. Tiger thanks for the links.
Tiger on the bbc link I found did they every discover anything/someone sinister behind the three missing ospreys. That is a lot between April 2010 and May 2011 mentioned in the article
I don't think at this stage we should think something sinister has happened to Blue 28(10).
It is mmore likely with the intrusions he has been in a bit of a chase and possibly temporarily chased away and am sure we will see him back.
However at present am concened about the stability of this nest.
Keith I did wonder earlier today if his inexperience was the cause of his absence. Especially if this is his first nest - new parents and all that...he doesn't know he cant just get off until all visitors have left - especially when its family you don't want to see!!
Thank you for the link Lmac.
