chocoholix said: OK, so now Rutland are saying that Mrs 5R has been joined by 28(10) on the nest in a blog just posted EDIT: oops SNAP Vespa! I looked at the photos from earlier and the ring definitely looks more like a 25 than a 28 in the shot on here. I am confused (STILL!) 28(10) arrived on the Manton Bay nest on 28 March, and was briefly seen with 30(05) here. He's a Rutland B bird, fathered by 03(97)

Just bringing this post down to highlight choco's excellent analysis.
I agree.Just very difficult to get these 25's and 28's sorted on camera shots.
You beat me too it TIGER I looked closely and was coming back to say I think it is a 28.
Which nest was he from?
I've come here late (but have excuses, this damn video is hell to navigate and I've been having an argument elsewhere ;-) ) ... to say "I think it's 28" - thank you Becky Raine for pointing me to the blog I had ignored.
Glad the experts agree!
This is 5 minutes of the second visit and mating - lots of mantling but when I did it I thought we might need every millimetre to ID the ring:
