Thanks to Everyone for the New Year greetings and I wish the same for Everyone!  Loved all the cards--thanks Everyone.  Tiger, that is a gorgeous and inspiring video--thanks for posting it!  Love the scenery and birds and animals.  Seeing the Cranes reminds me about the International Crane Foundation, a wonderful enterprise; if you are not familiar with it, see their website:  http://www.savingcranes.org/  The site has a few videos to illustrate their work as well as the other usual information.

And a Very Happy New Year from me too you ALL too.  Thank you Chloe for your opening card, and from everyone else who has so cleverly produced their cards and vids.  Here's to another wonderful osprey year.  I hope it brings the safe return of EJ and Odin to produce another family at LG, news of Garten (and Rothiemurchus), of an incident-free African holiday for Breagha and Oighrig.  And what of Caledonia?  Will she return or stay for another year in sunny Spain.  Time will tell.  Then of course there are the other osprey projects around the UK to keep an eye on and monitor.  This is when all ideas of a dust-free house go out the window, the ironing lies crumpled in the basket, the flower heads die and are left on the stalks.....  Roll on 2014 osprey season!
