Morning all and Happy New Week.

  • Hi, Lindy!  It was lovely to finally sleep in a cool bedroom again last night.  It's been hot here at night for what feels like ages.

Our herring gulls are red listed birds.  Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

  • You all are silly. It's not chilly!

    90 F (32.2 C) expected here today, and 97 F (36.1 C) by Tuesday. High humidity. Yuck.

Everyone have a very nice week!

  • I can sympathise with you, Diane - that's very hot.  I hope you have a nice week as well, despite your weather.

I'm currently watching a peregrine webcam from Charles Sturt University in NSW.  How far is that from you?

First I've heard of it!!! From Wiki - Charles Sturt University (CSU) is an Australian multi-campus university located in New South Wales, Victoria and Aust Capital Territory. More HERE. Anyway, a long way from us in Adelaide. Depending which campus, a day or 2's drive.

    Owww! That is unpleasant.

  • that's horrible, Diane.     Its about 11 degrees here, and sunny, but only warm when you are in the sun and also under glass!

Enjoyed your pics and stories of LittleM  AQ - what a handful they are at that age.   Our Tomasz has amused the family by watching a neighbour cutting his hedge with a trimmer, and saying to his Mum "Look, Mummy, that man is doing the hedge with a hedgehog!!"  Everyone fell about.

Off out now, (with a coat on).  Have a good Sunday, Everyone.

  • Richard has posted a new Blog.

    And good morning to everyone.

  • Hello everyone.  Is it just me that keeps getting signed out as I'm such an occasional visitor at the moment?

Very chilly here first thing, now warm in the sun. OH doing some much needed tidying up outside - there just never seems to be enough time.  He's been building some agility equipment so he can practice Mia's contact points which are her weakness.

I've been busy bottoming bedrooms as have one of my brothers coming to visit next weekend.  need to get it done now as have quite a few extra hours to work this next week doing holiday cover.

Margo hope you are doing ok. How is Billie?

  • Hello folks. Ditto the weather. Still only 15.8 here with some dark clouds. The sun has disappeared. Trying to resist putting the heating on yet !!

Diane, You really are getting some extreme temperatures. Too hot to want to do anything.

AQ, LM seems to be getting quite tall. She is a beauty. I can imagine her saying and doing the things that you told us about.

Thanks Limpy for news of the blog. Hope you feel better asap.

Trish, I haven't been signed out recently. Sounds like a hectic time for you. Any latest pics of Mia, please ?

OG, I hope your eye and 'cold' are improving.

I also hope that Margo is continuing to not feel too bad.

  • Hi to all. Just waiting for dinner to cook so thought that I would look in. It was very cool during the night, 5 degrees. We went up to middle daughter's house this afternoon so that my OH could attack the shrubs in her garden. Mission accomplished and have been chilling out since returning home. I was watching the Last Night of the Proms yesterday evening and really enjoyed it. Nigel Kennedy is a real entertainer!! The orchestra and conductor did well to follow his impromptu bits. I couldn't quite see the Union Jack in DiDonaldos dress, apparently a Vivien Westwood design? It was so warm up at middle daughter's house that we did think we might manage dinner outside under the grape vine but it's gone coolish so no go.
