Good morning, all, and welcome to the new month's thread. I imagine we'll have to wait and see whether Glesni has actually gone - if she has, she can look back on a season where she has every right to feel very proud of herself!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
At last dear Monty's patience is rewarded and Cerist comes, with a lot of screeching, to claim the flounder Monty cleans his beak before departing
Think there's an intruder around She hasn't started eating yet and is now twisting her head around skywards and mantling

Indeed, morning all! Cerist has at last come to claim the flounder - the sisters have both had a breakfast fish this morning so were probably waiting for 11am so it's time for elevenses :-)

Hi again everyone. Just a few from earlier. I think Monty arrived about 1020 so waited ~45 minutes to get a taker for his flounder.
Patiently waiting....
He was pestered for quite a while but stood firm....
The pesky gang hoping for free fish....
I think Clarach on the perch but not interested in Monty's flounder....
Cerist flies in for fish....
Having got the fish need to watch out for robbers....
Another pesterer ;-)
Maybe she can relax now and get some eating done :-)

She's currently making good inroads into the flounder
Love your capture of the crows BADGIE
Just seen your captures, TBoL, hadn't realised there were that many crows!
Just happened to look in at the nest, and caught this cheeky magpie. Cerist edged closer and closer until the magpie flew off!

Monty on the nest looking quite windblown whilst one of his daughters sits on the T perch with a non-flounder fish
Sounds very windy at Dyfi. Cerist with a fish whilst Clarach looks on but not screeching for one. Cerist is really tucking in - looks like she is making up for yesterday. Copyright of DOP
