Good morning, all, and welcome to the new month's thread. I imagine we'll have to wait and see whether Glesni has actually gone - if she has, she can look back on a season where she has every right to feel very proud of herself!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Good morning, all. One of the girls is on the nest calling and I think that's Monty in his favourite place:

FISH, 07:59!
Yay! Got him in flight with it!
I suspect Clarach got the fish as she's just flown with it - I've yet to see Cerist do this.
I can't see a link so far to this so for anyone who can't access Facebook.
Birdies LG DU update.
Thanks, Mike - that was beautiful! Clarach's fishing tackle looks in fine shape.
Good morning everyone. Thanks for updates so far. Just popped in to see that Cerist Blue 1R now has a fish of her own. Earlier I think she found a fish tail from last evening which she gulped down :-) She's been doing small flights on the nest with the fish(a flounder?) ....

Some shots of possibly Clarach on the perch....
A toilet break and stretch before she flew off....
OK where is everybody? Don't tell me you're getting fussy about flounders now?!!!

Monty is still waiting there patiently despite having three pesky crows having a go. Come on girls, you don't want Monty thinking he isn't needed - you really need him around for another two or three weeks! We would quite like to keep him for a little longer too :-)
certainly would birdsong - oh and a belated morning ;-)
