Good morning, all, and welcome to the new month's thread. I imagine we'll have to wait and see whether Glesni has actually gone - if she has, she can look back on a season where she has every right to feel very proud of herself!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
This bird is no quitter:

Poor Cerist must be starving and Clarach can;t exactly be hungry She's been hannging onto that fish for ages Cerist flies up to try and take it again but no luck
Cerist is still at it, I've only been down the shops for a few mins and come back to her trying to land on the perch and pinch Clarach's fish

Lynette, you're getting some wonderful captures!
Lovely captures, Clare. Bit of drama going on, where's Monty with that fish.
So are you, Clare.
ruffled feathers and a bit of peace. Copyright of DOP.
Thanks, Lynette! I was delighted I managed to capture a bird in flight for once.
Where's Cerist now, off cam with Clarach on the perch.
And as I wrote the above she is back on the nest protesting.
