Good morning, all, and welcome to the new month's thread. I imagine we'll have to wait and see whether Glesni has actually gone - if she has, she can look back on a season where she has every right to feel very proud of herself!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
one more before I go - negotiating the tail end.

Do find it interesting that Cerist still likes to lie on the nest. I thought that as they grew it becomes more comfortable to stand, Cerist obviously has other ideas! She rose up to have a shout at something but is back lying down now :-)

Just chilling out, bit of sun bathing, bit of a preen - why would I want to move?!

Cerist is about and she's doing her nut:
Clarach briefly joined her before flying off again. I wonder what's bothering the girls?

Hi CLARE, Here is a DYFI tweet and some recent captures....
© Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust Dyfi Osprey Project Webcam
Cerist Blue 1R has a windy preen on a different perch....
Perching buddies, one has a scratch ;-)
Now concentrate, Clarach - Monty will be very unhappy if you drop another fish. Mullet looks a lot easier than flounder ;-)
A fish delivery....
Clarach Blue 2R wins the fish tussle....
And tucks in on the perch....
oo wer!! the youngest having a go at fishing! Terrific
and now LYNETTE BADGIE BIRDSONG and CLARE let's hope big sister learns how to handle a flounder without losing it over the side of the nest before she migrates(much harder to handle than a mullet or trout)
Thank you all for the splendid captures
