Good morning, all, and welcome to the new month's thread. I imagine we'll have to wait and see whether Glesni has actually gone - if she has, she can look back on a season where she has every right to feel very proud of herself!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Clarach is on the nest, poking about and looking a bit disappointed - as well she might, cos a rather beautiful magpie has just cleaned it up!

Clarach's fish is/was still alive, poor thing
It is Clarach then.
Yes LYNETTE Some on the chat were speculating that she may have caught it herself but evidently Monty brought it to the nest
Clarach on perch waiting for fish (I hated cutting her off because she looked so beautiful), flies down to nest to collect from trusty Monty:
super blog from Paul about Glesni's leaving. Meant to say pics I've posted are copyright of DOP. Also managed to capture Glesni as she flew off - from the vid posted, again copyright of DOP
great vid Scylla of Monty's arrival with fish.
She has finished the fish - that pose - here's looking at you!
