I'm just stopping in to say good morning to everyone. Lindy, Clare, Heather, Annette and all have a good day! Temps are soaring again here. Weather Channel says 95 F (35 C) by Tuesday. The wasp nest is getting disturbingly large! 29 newly hatched wasps on the nest this morning. The big orange-coloured rabbit is sitting in the front yard. Two fat Fox Squirrels are running around on the roof of the garage. I think they're hiding food for the winter up there.Hugs to Margo.
Hi, Diane - it's much cooler here today (though still quite pleasant). It's now chucking it down with rain.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Clare: I saw the weather for England (a friend posted on Facebook), and it appeared that you could have storms and flooding. Everyone stay safe!
Thanks, Diane.
I thought I'd share some pictures of our indoor birdlife as I haven't shown them off for a while:
Fluffy, our male cockatiel
Bernie, one of our female cockatiels
Gannet, the other female cockatiel
Whistle (left) and Billy (right), our male budgies
Pearl, one of our female budgies
Saffy, the other female budgie
When all seven of them are singing at once the noise level is very impressive!
No paragraphs again but at least I got the last word on this time!!
Lindy: What kind of worktops are you going to get?
