Go! Breagha :-*
IMAGICAT
Breagha taking a strange route into the desert:
I guess that was Breagha reacting to the sand storm?
Tiger Signature
Looks likely doesn't it?
ChloeB & Tiger's Osprey Data
Doesn't look like a good decision does it. Hopefully he will turn around and head back west :(
People tend to think that the Sahara is a place where the sky is clear ever day and the sun shines relentless.
Fact is it does not.
Remember how in 2008 there was huge concern about Nethy when she started going backwards?
Later it emerged that she had encountered poor weather.
So she turned around and made it across the Sahara.
For those of us watching it was a tense time.
For me, the Sahara is an unforgiving place. Obviously having never been there I don't know, just imagine it so.

I have a very good friend who has crossed the Sahara, in a truck, from Ghana to Morocco I think. It is incredibly taxing place.
Yes it must be. We complain about heat and cold here but the day/night extremes out there in the desert must be incredible.
How did your friend come to be there, Tiger?
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
