MORNING ALL
This must be the latest that a Daily Update has been started!
All looks quiet on the LG Nest, GEM's are preening and lounging, EJ is looking wistfully out into the landscape, maybe she is thinking Odin is late this morning with his breakfast fish, or then maybe she is thinking, isn't this about the time that that funny man comes with those long ladders, and takes my two chicks away, when they come back they have a bendy wire on their backs, wonder what they are for.
EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
Both chicks lying very low on a windy nest. Don't you just feel so sorry for them. Being whisked off the nest, man-handled, surrounded no doubt by lots of interested folk, and then returned to the nest. Neither EJ nor Odin has returned yet.

It took five minutes to see my last post come up!! I give up!!
Enjoy your watching...
I'm hoping they had the blog already written, with just the details needing to be filled in. Otherwise they probably won't have time until this evening, being a fine Saturday in school holidays. They only have 15 minutes to get everything tidied up ready for opening!
Both chicks have now been returned.

I noticed that too - it would be a very good thing if they are new tags without antennae, I always wonder about Ceulan's tag having caught in the nets :'(
Return of chicks to nest, second chick lands on its feet!
IMAGICAT
Well done for getting the video, Limpy. I was watching it while waiting for the return and it froze - obviously all too much effort struggling to get the RSPB pages up! Had to reboot - luckily only missed start of return.

Good Morning Scylla Birdsong SheilaFE Lindy.
Interesting about the apparent lack of aerial. Can someone tell me what the difference is between the two types of tag, other than the obvious lack of aerial of course! LOL
Good morning, LIMPY, on the ball as ever ;-)
Thank you for stills, LIMPY and BIRDSONG - I can't check for anyone else, it just takes too long to change pages :-( Thank you to everyone for contributions.
Did I say my internet went down? Just after second chick taken from nest, got it back up before return to nest, how lucky was that?!
