In just over four hours time (5:04 am) it will be the summer solstice. A real pivotal point in the year. From today forward the days will grow shorter and we know what that means. Enjoy the ospreys while we can because it will be a long wait until they return.

SCYLLA I don't think there has been anything left from the three fish he has delivered that he could take away to eat. But remember that earlier this morning (fish 2?) when he brought in a fish and no one was interested, so he took it away, but returned with it later. He must have had the head at least of that one.

EJ has flown off.
Odin really pressed the stick into Moffalot's back!

Hello Patricia, nice to see you. The chicks are thriving and very beautiful :-)

Exactly, but that's all we've "seen" him eat today because, as you say, there have been no leftovers for him. So unless he's been and got one for himself he must be very hungry.
Chicks alone now, zonked out.
I don't think Odin would go hungry. I can't remember the time taken, but I am sure that last year he delivered a fish, flew off and returned relatively quickly, so he could well have caught a fish for himself.
We saw him with 2 within half an hour the other day :-)
EJ returns with a chirrup. Moffalot looks ever hopeful, so perhaps they do need another fish! And EJ is calling. Perhaps Odin has returned with another fish already and is on the cam tree! Moffalot called too! Is this the beginning of the noisy stage!
one of the wee ones doing some housework bless. start them young thats what i say

Absolutely LINDYLOO. I think that was Wotadin, the elder of the two. Moffalot is hanging its head on the nest at the bottom of our screen while Wotadin is getting dangerously curious about what is happening out in the big wide world on the far side!
Home alone.
