It certainly is Brenda - just beautiful! What a shame about their midsummer special day - typical scottish weather, you can't plan anything :) Still, one thing we are good at is making the best of it LOL
All seems quiet on the nest, and it looks a lovely evening.
Male was on the nest at 19.48 alarm-calling, but all seems OK now.

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
