Brenda. What is faulty about it? Other than Orange VS being in osprey Heaven? In fact on the 14  April 2010 we all got a big shock when the Daily Mail printed a picture which suggested that he had risen from the dead.

Still very quiet on the nest. Hope Odin brings another fish tonight.

Tiger, I have been looking for the discussion about this photograph, which I remember, but the site keeps leading me to a quote by Keith Rogers on the Gabfest today about this article;

Just playing catch up. Love all the banter today and the pics, videos and updates are great. Fingers crossed we get a second hatching in the next coupke of days :-)

You're right Tiger, the ring seems to be on the right leg, but the letters on the ring seem the wrong way round? It reads SV upwards, or VS backwards? Wouldn't OVS ring have read VS upwards? - squinting at this old blog image
