Well Thursday was certainly a roller coaster day!
What will today bring, well I am glad that it is Friday the 12, and not Friday the 13th!
Lets hope that EJ and Odin settle down to domestic bliss and we have an egg to coo over soon!!!
Let today be the day that Nora White 03(08) flies into Dyfi and puts the handsome Monty out of his misery!
Also would good to hear from Rutland if 5N (04) has found a mate too!
Maybe Friday will be the day that it all happens, then we can go and have a real happy weekend.
EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
Indeed it was. EJ was missing for most of the day then reappeared here at 11.24am
The other amazing news of the day was that Red 8T came back from the "dead"
Tiger Signature
It certainly was a day to remember, for some reason I think it was an even more anxious time this year than it was last! EJ certainly likes to put us through the ringer! doesn't she LOL
Well I hadn't written him off just yet Tiger, but was worried for him! What brilliant news to receive tonight!
It has been a rollercoaster couple of weeks. Leaves me wondering what today will bring.
For those ospreys who are lagging, the weekend promises to be a good one for them weatherwise.
ChloeB & Tiger's Osprey Data
Thanks for starting the new thread, Mary. Yestarday was certainly an exciting day, with EJ coming back and of course we had the fantastic news that Red 8T is alive and well :) I reckon things will get back to normal between EJ & Odin in the next couple of days.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Lets hope so Paul, we just want to see everything go well at LG and some nice healthy chicks this season!
Well, looking back at the previous years' stats from Chloe and Tiger's website, EJ certainly has a turbulent history! There were many comings and goings in 2003/4, and some other dramatic events in later years which we probably all know about now! I did note that EJ has a history of being absent from the nest for a day or two at a time, something I hadn't realised before. She's certainly and independent osprey!
"Only two things are infinite - the universe and human stupidity. And I'm not too sure about the universe..." - Albert Einstein
I'll raise a glass to that Mary and Paul :)
Think I will call it a night, and see what tomorrow brings!
I hope Scylla has not slept in for the night shift LOL (Just joking Scylla)!
I must have missed the news about Red 8T. Was that in 'news from other nests'?
