This is purely a quick note to let you know that a new blog is being written, explaining the current situation and our decision not to intervene. This is a complex issue and we realise people have many concerns, so we want to attempt to address them fully - this is going to take time to write. At the moment I am taking a lot of calls form concerned members of the public and this means the blog is taking even longer. We will publish it as soon as we can.
