Wigeon and teal numbers are starting to build as we edge closer to the winter period and large numbers of gulls are still loafing around on the new Phase 3 part of the site. If you visit over the next few weeks keep your eyes and ears open for migrating birds moving through. As well as the wading birds, species including whinchat and wheatear turn up at Langford on an annual basis and are always a treat to see.
