After 11 years in the job, our Warden, Jenny, moved into another role with the RSPB last November. We're now on the lookout for a new Warden, full of enthusiasm and who likes bitterns. Good selection of winter birds on site at the moment including the long-staying ring-necked ducks and great northern diver, along with marsh harriers, bramblings, bearded tits, great white egrets, stonechats and recent records of common scoter, whooper swan and jack snipe.
