Following on from yesterday's announcement, we're sad to say that the Trent came over the flood-bank last night and Langford is quickly filling with water. The reserve is now closed and will remain so until the Trent drops significantly and we can release water back off site (this might not be for a while!!). The car park is also now closed (as of 11am 23rd Jan). The site is completely full of water and with the river still pouring in, water is flowing out across the public footpath into the surrounding fields. If walking in the area please be very cautious of any flooded areas and do not enter the reserve or quarry areas to try and get round them.

Take care, stay safe and don't forget the RSPB's Big Garden Birdwatch coming up soon!!
