Pochard numbers are building nicely, but overall wildfowl numbers are still fairly low as the weather's been pretty mild and presumably species such as wigeon and pintail haven't had the need to leave northern Europe in big numbers yet. This will quickly change if/when temperatures start dropping on the continent.
