Good morning. If you are taking part in our Race for Wildlife on Sunday 14 October, here is some important information for you.

Firstly, and perhaps most importantly, the race begins at 11am. Registration will take place in the visitor centre, which is a short walk from the car park. The start for both the 5k and 10k is around a 10 minute walk (or five minute jog) from the visitor centre. We therefore suggest that you get here in plenty of time so that you can get parked, get registered and get to the start!

In terms of routes, here are the maps of the two routes:

5k:

10k:

There will be a drinks station approximately half way around the 10k routes. Marshals will also have bottles of water at strategic points around the 5k route just in case you need re-hydrating on the way round.

There will be a secure baggage area available near the visitor centre.  Homemade cakes and hot drinks will be available to purchase after the run at the visitor centre.

If you have any questions or queries, please ring 01842 863400 or e-mail lakenheath@rspb.org.uk; for more information.

We hope you enjoy the event!
