As you may know, we currently charge £4 per car for non-members of the RSPB. Our nature reserves are special places that support a host of wildlife. We’re only able to carry out our valuable work through the generous support of people like you. To help us continue our vital conservation work, from 1 April 2018, we will be asking non-RSPB members to pay an entrance charge per person.
The new entrance charge for non-members will be as follows:
£3- Adult
£2 –Student (with a valid student ID card)
£1.50- Children (5-17 year olds)
This charge includes entry for one person, use of all visitor facilities including visitor trails, viewing structures and picnic area.
The following concessions will be available:
Family offer - One child entrance FREE per party
Child under 5 – FREE entrance
Visitor centre only – FREE entrance

If you are not currently a member of the RSPB, why not consider joining? You will get free entry to all of the RSPB nature reserves around the country which are crammed full of wonderful wildlife. There are over 200 RSPB reserves across Britain which are all wonderful places to visit.
In terms of logistics, the entrance charge will be payable in the visitor centre during office hours (9am-5pm). We are able to take cash and card payments. If you visit the reserve out of office hours during the summer months, please consider giving us a donation the next time you visit during office hours.
