Much talk abounds on the internet and trendy newspaper sites these days as to whether we are in fact living in a "Golden age of television" because it is only 98% total rubbish nowadays. Well, that debate ended this week as The Oa's very own Dave Wood made his second BBC appearance in as many weeks, this time on the Landward TV programme filmed on Islay and Jura recently. Our section of the show is all about our local chough population, and the work we do to try and provide them with as much suitable habitat as possible. In one section guaranteed to have alerted the BAFTA judges, Dave and Euan display compelling onscreen chemistry whilst picking apart a cow pat and discussing its contents.
Then an unfortunate incident occurs as Dave gets distracted and goes looking for birds, leaving Euan to cope alone. I know the feeling.
Follow the link below for the full programme. It's definitely better than I have made it sound!
