I put a puss moth up on the blog from our moth trap a couple of weeks ago, but they are beautiful, so here's one in its natural environment out on the Oa today. Every adult I find increases my chances of finding one of its larvae, which is officially the coolest creature on the planet and would make me far more excited than a 37 year old man should get about a caterpillar. Google it if you've not seen one before.

Elsewhere on the reserve, the warmer weather is bringing out the flowers, including the first few orchids of the year, like this spotted heath...
