Belated news of last week's moth trap at the Oa, which was another good one. We had a decent variety of species, and a couple of excellent records.


This is a Double Lobed, which has never been recorded on Islay before.


This is a Scotch Annulet, the first record of this moth on Islay since the 1970's.


And these are Small Wainscots, which aren't nearly as interesting, but Dave and I were very grateful for the way they settled right next to their pictures in the book. If they'd all do that, we'd save ourselves a lot of time...
