Have you seen the Spotted Crake recently at Greylake?

It's been seen walking amongst the reeds in the pond to your right, just as you aproach the track walking along the boardwalk to the main hide.

Greylake is a great spot to get up close to the wildlife that enjoys our reedbeds all through the year, and the winter birds are beginning to arrive.  If you're new to wildlife watching, join us at Greylake to find out more on one of our Birdwatching for Beginners get-togethers, or just pop in and enjoy a walk around the reedbed trail and do try out the hide - the birds are on the water just outside the windows!  Look out for our wardens at weekends who are always happy to have a chat and answer any questions you might have.
