The leaves are falling, their colours are changing, the days are growing shorter, and the air is getting cooler.... all signs of autumn well on its way at Swell Wood, creeping down the muddy paths. To make the most of these changes with all the wildlife they have to offer, and in preparation for the cold winter coming, we have our "Autumn in the Woods" event happening at Swell Wood this weekend on Saturday 27th October 2012.
Come and join us at Swell Wood from 10:30am until 12:30pm to enjoy the colours of autumn and see how many woodland birds you know at the feeders. Then build a bird feeder to then take home in readiness for winter.... a perfect present for the birds!
