We are delighted that the wildbird and wildflower crops we've planted this year are bringing a fantastic selection of birds to Greylake. Bramblings and redpoll are being seen regularly flying in and out of these crops and along the reedbed loop. And if you keep a beedy eye out you might even see a bearded tit or two!
For some lovely photos of bramblings and others fantastic images submitted to our website take a look at the Wildlife section in our community pages.
And if you are new to bird and wildlife watching why not come and join us on Sunday 18 November for some Birdwatching for Beginners advice. We are also being joined by some of the team from the RSPB's Darts Farm shop on Sunday 25 November for our BINOCULARS & TELESCOPE DEMONSTRATION DAY and we invite you to come and test drive a great range of binoculars and telescopes, helping you get up close and personal with nature. What about digi-scoping? Click on the highlighted links for more details.
And if you are just visiting at weekends, be sure to look out for Information Volunteers who will be very happy to have a chat and tell you all about this wonderful reserve.
