The latest exhibition at the Geltsdale Gallery features a series of new works from Penrith-based artist Dani Cook. Dani’s exhibition features magnificent birds of prey, such as red kites, that have returned from the brink of extinction, together with more common species.

Dani developed her love of birds whilst growing up in the Lake District, where it was only natural to be fascinated by birds. Dani was also inspired by the publication ‘On a wing and a prayer’ published by the RSPB in collaboration with other organisations.

Dani’s exhibition is accompanied by species information compiled by Chris Hind.

The exhibition can be viewed daily from 9:00am to 5:00pm, the visitor centre RSPB Geltsdale until 18th February 2018.
