You may remember that back in July I talked about the Nature for Farming award which is run by the RSPB every year and invites entries from wildlife-friendly farmers across the country. Nicholas Watts from Vine House Farm in Lincolnshire was our regional winner and one of eight finalists up for the award.

Well I am pleased to announce that Mr Watts has been crowned the winner by impressing judges and inspiring voters with his dedication to improving the numbers of declining species on his land. Thank you to all those who voted for Nicholas and showed your support for the Nature for Farming award. It just shows that farming and wildlife can go hand in hand as proved by Mr Watts' extrememly successful and profitable farm business.
