Helloooooooo,
We've been trying different ways to get what we're up to on the reserve across to everyone and have recently started vlogging. We found this to be a quick and effective way to get stories out to people who may be interested in what goes on on the reserve. It is a lot less time consuming than blogging so has benefits for us but the real question is, does if work for you? We've had lots of positive feedback on our social media channels but realised our faithful community users, aka whoever is reading this and checks out the recent sightings, aren't getting chance to see them.
I've collated all of them here in rough groupings so if you want to have a look and see what we've been doing you can do :)
Unfortunately it's currently all me so while hopefully you'll find the content better than the presentation.
Currently the vlog format is a little on the hoof where an opportunity presents itself, but we would love to have more input and tell you want you want to hear, rather than what we think you want to hear.
Hope you like what we're doing on the reserve and also how we're trying to interpret it. We say this a lot and it feels like it falls on deaf ears a bit but no-one actually does get in touch, but if you have any thoughts on content or the reserve in general we'd love to hear it.
I'l be around in the visitor centre and on the reserve on the 29th and 30th so if you want a chat please collar me and say hello.
Have a great Christmas and New Year
T

I'm not so sure you do want to hear it! I left extensive feedback after your last blog which was deleted along with my comments. What on earth is going on up there? This hardly encourages supporters to leave feedback. As a lifelong supporter of the RSPB and a Life Fellow, I'm a bit miffed at having my comments deleted. I've asked why on Facebook but had no response at all.
