Last week our visitor experience intern Jenny talked about the Easter activities we are running at the reserve. But not all families like to be in busy places, especially if they have children with autism or sensitivity to stimulae. Not to worry, we have it covered. Read on to find out more...

During the Easter holiday we will be holding two ‘Quiet hours’ outside of public opening hours. These sessions are for families that require a quieter space to enjoy all our Easter activities, such as families with children with autism and sensory or communication needs.

These sessions will take place on:

Monday 8 April 4 pm to 5 pm

Monday 15 April 4 pm to 5 pm

All our Easter activities will be available during this time including giant noughts and crosses, a memory box game, giant swan nest building and our amazing Easter Egg trail with chocolatey prizes.

Assistance dogs are permitted in the visitor centre and across the site and an accessibility map is available in print from the visitor centre or online here (http://www.lincolnshire.gov.uk//download/115270).

If you have any questions about our quiet times, please contact us on 01205 724678 or lincolnshirewashreserves@rspb.org.uk.
