There is a new face in town. You may have seen him in yesterday's guillemot video on Facebook and twitter. Matthew is joining us for the first half of a year-long internship, learning the skills to become a warden on a nature reserve. this is what he has to say:

-----------------------------------

Hey there!

I’m an Animal Behaviour graduate with a passion for conservation! I’m interested in all aspects of wildlife but have a particular affinity with our humble UK birds. I particularly enjoy collecting the songs, sounds and calls of wildlife with microphones and recorders. But in the end nothing can beat sitting in a cosy hide all day and absorbing the feel of amazing landscapes such as here at RSPB Frampton Marsh. I can’t wait to get stuck in to help preserve this wondrous habitat and work towards the conservation and future of our UK wetland wildlife.

Reedbed, freshwater scrapes, saltmarsh and wet meadow. Frampton Marsh has it all! Come and pay us a visit soon.
