Our nature reserves are special places that support a host of wildlife. We’re only able to carry out our valuable work through the generous support of people like you. To help us continue our vital conservation work, from 1 April 2018, we will be introducing new charges for visitors to both Frampton Marsh and Freiston Shore.
Frampton Marsh
Currently we request a voluntary £2 donation for non-members to park their cars at the reserve. This will be changing to an entry charge for non-members. Prices will be:
£2- Adult
£1.30 –Student (with a valid student ID card)
£1 - Children (5-17 year olds)
This charge includes entry for one person, use of all visitor facilities including RSPB trails, viewing structures and picnic area.
The following concessions will be available:
Family offer - One child entrance FREE per party
Childen under 5 – FREE entrance
Visitor centre only – FREE entrance
RSPB members – FREE, please show our staff on duty your membership card.
In terms of logistics, the entrance charge will be payable in the visitor centre during opening hours (currently 9:30 am - 4 pm, or until 5 pm at weekends and public holidays between March and October inclusive). We are currently only able to take cashpayments. If you visit the reserve out of visitor centre opening hours, please consider giving us a donation the next time you visit.
Freiston Shore
Currently there is no charge to visit Freiston. We will be introducing a facilities charge of £2. Please use the (soon-to-be) installed machine to purchase your ticket and then display it in the windscreen of your vehicle.
This charge includes parking for one vehicle, use of all visitor facilities including RSPB trails, viewing structures and picnic area.
RSPB members will continue to get FREE entry, please display your membership card on the dashboard of your vehicle.

If you are not currently a member of the RSPB, why not consider joining? You will get free entry to all of the RSPB nature reserves around the country which are crammed full of wonderful wildlife. There are over 200 RSPB reserves across Britain which are all wonderful places to visit. Pop into the visitor centre at Frampton and ask the person on duty for more details.
