Looking for something to do with the kids this half-term? Bring them along to Frampton Marsh for a wild time!

Running all week we have a treasure trail. Follow the trail around the surfaced paths and find out all about how animals migrate. Answer the questions correctly and when you return to the visitor centre, you will win a prize. £1 per child to take part.

On the Tuesday, we are doing pond dipping. Investigate the watery world to see what wildlife lives in the weedy depths. There are five sessions throughout the day, each led by an expert guide and we provide all the equipment. The sessions are very popular, so definitely book in advance. It costs £3 per child.

On Wednesday we are looking at our feathered friends with 'Birds for Kids'. Learn some fieldcraft, to help you see the birds better. Discover how you can tell which ones are which. Then you get to put theory into practice as we head out onto the reserve to put your new skills to the test! There are morning and afternoon sessions, which cost £3 per child.

Then on the Thursday it is time to brave the world of mini monsters, with bug hunting. Search for bugs and slugs, millipedes and beetles. Our intrepid leader will show you what is what. Again, there are sessions in both the morning and afternoon, costing £3 per child. please note though, this activity is weather dependent.

To find out more about these or any other of our events, visit our events pages: http://www.rspb.org.uk/reserves/guide/f/framptonmarsh/events.aspx

Of course, there is also self-guided pond dipping to be done on any day (except when organised pond dipping is occurring), geocache trails, plenty of wildlife to spot, and coffee and cakes to relax with.

So come along and have some fun!
